      لوبھئی، بالآخر ڈاکٹر ابرار احمد بھٹی صاحب نے ہماری نوکِ پلک سنوار دی۔ دائیں آنکھ کی نچلی پلک اندر کو مُڑ گئی تھی۔ اس کی نوکیں چبھتی تھیں، جلن مچتی تھی اور پپوٹا بھاری ہوجاتا تھا۔ آنکھیں آنسو بھری اور پلکیں بوجھل گھنی رہا کرتیں۔ جیسے جھیلیں بھی ہوں، نرم سائے بھی ہوں۔ اب یہ سب شاعرانہ صفات رخصت ہوگئیں۔ الحمدللہ ہم سنوارے گئے۔ داغؔ دہلوی بھی شاید اسی شر کا شکار تھے، جسے ہمارے جدید اطبا زبانِ فرنگ میں ‘Entropion’ کہتے ہیں۔ یہ نہ کہیں تو کیا کہیں؟ ’
