Wiio Wi Star 3G With 5-Inch Display, Dual-Core SoC Launched at Rs. 3,999

Wiio has launched its new Wi Star 3G smartphone, priced at Rs. 3,999. The new smartphone will be exclusively available via eBay India starting Tuesday.
The company touts that the Wiio Wi Star 3G smartphone is the "most affordable 5-inch smartphone with 3G support."
The Wi Star 3G is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device which runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It supports a regular SIM and a Micro-SIM.
It comes with a 5-inch (480x854 pixels) FWVGA IPS display. The Wiio Wi Star 3G is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek (MTK6572) processor coupled with 512MB of RAM.
The smartphone features 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). The Wi Star 3G sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 2-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard.
On the connectivity front, the Wiio Wi Star 3G offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options. The smartphone packs a 2000mAh battery, which according to the eBay listing is rated to deliver up to 8 hours of talk time, and up to 120 hours of standby time. It measures 145.5x77.5x9.8mm and is listed in Black and White colours.
