Umme Kulsum honored with 'Batool-e-Anjuman' Award at Anjuman Girls' High School annual gathering

Bhatkal: 27 December 2024 (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Anjuman Girls' High School, Basti Road, celebrated its 53rd Annual Gathering with enthusiasm on Sunday. The event highlighted academic and extracurricular achievements of the students.
The prestigious Batool-e-Anjuman 2024-25 award was presented to Ummu Kulsum, daughter of Abdus Salam Mohtisham, for her outstanding performance and contributions. The Runner-Up Batool-e-Anjuman title went to Mariya Qibtia, daughter of Mohammed Mazhar Haji Faqui, for her exceptional dedication and achievements. Saifa, daughter of Jafar Sadique, received the Eminent Student 2024-25 award for her exemplary commitment to excellence.
The chief guest, Deepa Nayak, Assistant Sub-Inspector at Bhatkal Town Police Station, delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging students to strive for success and contribute to the nation's growth. Guest of honor, Tuba Taneem, Junior Resident Doctor at Bhatkal Taluka Hospital, shared motivational words, emphasizing the importance of perseverance, discipline, and holistic development. She also reminisced about her school days and expressed gratitude to her teachers.
Seema Abubaker Kasimji, Chairperson of the Anjuman Ladies Advisory Committee, presided over the event. The gathering began with a Qirath recitation by Aysha, with translations in English by Ummu Kulsum and in Urdu by Saifa. A Hamd was presented by Sadiqua, while Munazira Taiba delivered a Naath and led the school anthem with her group.
The headmistress, Bibi Atiya, presented the annual report, highlighting the school’s achievements over the past year. A welcome address was given by Aseeya, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Nusrath Jahan.
A special highlight of the program was the felicitation of Shobha Teacher for her dedicated service to the school. The event was attended by dignitaries including Farzana Mohtesham, Taliah Muallim, Saba Damda, and Shehnaz Jukaku.
