Top-level Urdu Mushaira held at Muscat

Muscat -It was a feast for the Urdu lovers based in Muscat. The Indian SocialWing Urdu Wing, in association with the Embassy ofIndia, organised a top-level Urdu mushaira on Thursday, November 4at 7.30pm at Le Grande Hall of Al Falaj Hotel in Ruwi. Celebratedpoets from different parts of India graced the mushaira. Among the topnames who declaimed their poetry included Anand Mohan Zutshi GulzarDehlvi who turned 82 this year, Meraj Faizabadi, Sheen Kaf Nizami,Rahat Indori Malikzada Manzoor, Majid Deobandi, and Sajjad jhanjhad.Anil Wadhwa, ambassador of India to Oman, was the chief guest.

A good crowd thoroughly enjoyed the mushaira.
