Tanzeem to hold Mega Voter ID Camp in Bhatkal on May 19 and 20

Bhatkal, May 18: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) )Majlis Islah wa Tanzeem will organise a two-day Mega Voter ID Camp in Bhatkal on May 19 and 20 to help eligible citizens complete voter registration and update their electoral details.
The camp will be held from 10 am to 4 pm at the Tanzeem Office on Siddique Street.
According to a press release, it will assist residents in applying for new voter identity cards, inclusion of names in the electoral roll and correction of errors in existing voter ID cards ahead of Karnataka’s upcoming Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process.
All citizens who are 18 years of age and above have been urged to make use of the camp and complete the necessary formalities.
Applicants have been asked to bring identity proof, address proof, age proof, a passport-size photograph and photocopies of all relevant documents. Organisers have also stated that it is mandatory to carry the mobile phone number linked to the applicant’s Aadhaar card.
In addition to fresh registrations, large-scale correction and updating of voter details will also be undertaken during the two-day programme.
The camp is being organised in view of the Special Intensive Revision announced by the Election Commission of India. The revision process is scheduled to begin on June 20, 2026, while Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will conduct house-to-house voter verification from June 30 to July 29.
Tanzeem has appealed to all eligible residents of Bhatkal to take advantage of the opportunity and ensure that their names and details are correctly entered in the electoral rolls.
