Siddaramaiah condemns alleged plan of SDPI to target pro-CAA leaders; calls for unbiased probe

Bengaluru: Condemning the alleged act of SDPI workers to target pro CAA-NRC leaders, former Karnataka CM and Leader of Opposition in Karnataka Assembly Siddaramaiah called the state government to initiate a unbiased investigation into the matter irrespective of the groups the accused are identified with. Speaking at the press club in the city, the former CM also questioned the organizational values of RSS adding that the organisation has been involved in various illegal activities. “No individual should be targeted or attacked let him be from any organisation. Nobody should be attacked or targeted let him be from Congress or BJP” Siddaramaiah said. Adding that he had no information about the ban state government was mulling to impose on SDPI.
