SC revokes disqualification of 16 MLAs in Karnataka

NEW DELHI: BJP government in Karnataka on Friday plunged into a crisis as the Supreme Court set aside the disqualification of 5 independent MLAs and 11 BJP MLAs who had gone against the party.

The SC said the Karnataka Speaker acted against principle of natural justice and constitutional provisions to disqualify the 16 MLAs
