Revenue officials raid illegal sand storage plant in Bhatkal

Bhatkal: Revenue officials on Tuesday raided a illegal sand storage plot at Honigadde of Heble locality in Bhatkal.
During the raid, the officials seized hundreds of sand bags stored at a plot and packed in cement bags. The team then destroyed the sand bags.
Working on the orders of AC Sajid Mulla and Tahsildar VP Kotralli, revenue officials including Rohidas Naik, Vasu Shetty and Manoj Gaonkar along with others raided the spot.
A similar raid was carried at Jali earlier last week where the revenue officials had taken similar action.
