The first phase of polling is set for April 26, followed by the second phase on May 7. On these days, both permanent and daily wage labourers, along with employees working in all state government offices, schools, colleges, business establishments, industries, and other organizations, are granted holidays with pay. This directive has been issued as per the publication of the under-secretary of the government.

These holidays have been declared with the intention of enabling everyone to exercise their right to vote.
