Power supply across Bhatkal Taluk to take hit on Wednesday due to maintenance work; Details here

Bhatkal: 28 May 2024 (Bhatkallys News Bureau) The 110 KV power line at Murdeshwar will undergo repairs tomorrow, Wednesday, due to faults in five or six insulators, according to Bhatkal HESCOM Assistant Engineer Manjunath. 

A specialized team from Kumta is set to arrive in Bhatkal to conduct the necessary repairs. The maintenance work on the Honavar-Murdeshwar route will take place from 9 AM to 4 PM. As a result, the entire Bhatkal taluk will experience a power outage during this period.

HESCOM has issued an appeal to the public to cooperate with the scheduled maintenance work, understanding the necessity of the temporary power disruption to ensure the reliability of the power supply in the future.
