NWKRTC launches special tour packages

The NWKRTC is back with its special tour packages for popular tourist destinations in the district and those existing across the State boundary. BELAGAVI, July 13, 2016 ( TheHindu): According to official sources at the NWKRTC division in the city, the packages have been made available for Gokak Falls and Godchinmalki Falls in the district and the Amboli Falls on Belagavi-Savantwadi Road in Maharashtra, about 55 km from Belagavi city. Package schedules The schedule for Gokak Falls is on July 17, 24, 31; August 7, 14, 15, 21 and 28; fare Rs. 160 per head. A bus will leave Belgaum City Bus Terminal (CBT) at 9 a.m. and reach Hidkal dam across the Ghataprabha river at 10 a.m. After allowing an hour for sight-seeing, the bus will proceed further at 11 a.m. and reach Godchinmalki Falls at 11-30 a.m. After one-hour break, the bus will leave at 12-30 p.m. for Gokak Falls by 1 p.m., where the tourists can enjoy the scenic beauty. The bus will leave Gokak Falls at 4 p.m. and return to Belagavi city by 6 p.m. The schedule for Belagavi-Amboli via Nagar Tas, Hiranyakeshi River is on July 17, 24, 31; August 7, 14, 15, 21 and 28; fare Rs.225 per head. The bus will leave CBT at 9 a.m. and reach Nagar Tas at 11 a.m. for an half-an-hour break for sight-seeing. It will leave at 11-30 a.m. and reach the point of origin of Hiranyakeshi river at noon where tourists can spend two hours. The bus will leave at 2 p.m. and reach Amboli Falls at 2-30 p.m. for a two-hour break. It will leave at 4-30 p.m. and return to CBT at 6-30 p.m.
