No third exam for K'taka board SSLC this year; revaluation application details announced

Bengaluru, Apr 23: Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa has clarified that there will be no third examination for SSLC students this year, citing the satisfactory overall results, similar to the Second PUC outcomes. He further announced that the second examination (Exam-2) is scheduled to be held from May 18 to May 25.

Following the announcement of results, the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has released the official schedule for students seeking scanned copies, re-counting, and re-evaluation of their answer scripts.

Scanned copies and application window

Students who wish to verify their marks or check if any answers were left unvalued can apply for scanned copies of their answer scripts.

  • General Application Period: April 23, 2026, to April 26, 2026.

  • With Late Fee: April 27 to April 28 (A penalty of Rs 100 per day will be applicable).

Fee structure

  • Online/Karnataka-One: The fee is fixed at Rs 410 per subject.

  • Offline Centers: The cost may go up to Rs 420, including service charges.

  • Direct Payments: At Bengaluru-One or Karnataka-One centers, students can pay directly. Including service charges, the amounts are specified as Rs 420 and Rs 820 respectively for relevant categories.

Important instructions

The board has emphasized that obtaining a scanned copy is mandatory before applying for re-evaluation. Students must ensure that their registration number and subject codes are entered correctly, as the board will not entertain any applications received after the deadline. Furthermore, fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
