Nawayath Cricket League's third season begins in Mangaluru for Bhatkal youngsters

Mangaluru's 'Perfect Pass' sports arena in Falnir witnessed the commencement of the third edition of the Nawayath Cricket League (NCL) on September 18. This three-day tournament is exclusively organized for students and working youngsters hailing from Bhatkal and its surrounding regions, who currently reside in Mangaluru.

Seven teams have come together to compete in the tournament. The competition is structured with a group stage, where each of the seven teams will face off against one another. Following the group stage, the top four teams will advance to the next round, designed in an IPL-style format. This knockout stage will feature Qualifier-1, Eliminator, Qualifier-2, and the Grand Finale, promising thrilling cricket action throughout the tournament.

The Nawayath Cricket League has 'Spider Group' as its title sponsor, along with other sponsors such as Arshad Mohtisham, Abdul Aziz Akrami and Imtiyaz Damda, prominent businessmen from Bhatkal.
