'Naunihaal Day' showcases amazing talents

Bhatkal, Jan 13, 2010 (Bhatkallys News):It was a brilliant show of extra-ordinary talent by Naunihaal kids. Students of Naunihaal School put up spectacular performance at the 'Tiny Tots Day' and the Annual Day events which were held here this week.
The Tiny Tots day saw the presence of Dr. Ruksar Anjum, a doctor of Govt Hospital Udupi, and Farzana Mohtesham, Urdu lecturer at Anjuman Pre-University College, Bhatkal, as chief guest and guest of honour respectively. The sight of little kids performing diverse cultural acts and Islamic renditions amazed the parents who were present in large numbers.
The Annual Day was attended by Gayatri M. Naik, tahsildar of Honnavar, as Chief Guest. Speaking on the occasion Mrs Gayatri said people of Bhatkal were warm and kind-hearted. She discussed the role of women in society and how students can create good atmosphere in the society. Dr. Zehra Khan, a practising doctor in Tiba Clinic, Bhatkal was the guest of honour. The cultural programme on Annual Day received tremendous applause from the large crowd that had thronged the venue. The entire programme was anchored by students themselves and proved that students not only have immense talent but amazing organisational skills. Qiraat, na'at, hamd, Asma e husna, welcome speech, school report, du'a were done by students themselves. In between the programmes quranic verses and hadith with translations were read out by students. Also, health tips were presented to the audience by students. The setting of stage for different items was also greatly admired.
