Nadvatul Ulema holds condolence function on demise of Moulana Abdul Bari

Bhatkal: A condolence function was held on Thursday 11.30 am at Nadvatul Ulema Masjid, Lucknow on the
demise of Moulana Abdul Bari Nadvi, a renowned Islamic Scholar, Principal of Jamia Islamia Bhatkal and
Imam of Jamia Masjid Bhatkal.
All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) President and Moderator at Nadvatul Ulema Moulana Syed
Rabey Hasani Nadvi, Nadvatul Ulema Superintendent Dr. Saeedur Rehman Al Azmi Nadvi, Moulana Abdul
Azeez Khalifa Nadvi, Moulana Nazarul Hafeez Nadvi and other teachers participated in the condolence meet.
Expressing his thoughts at the occasion, Moulana Nazarul Hafeez said that Moulana Abdul Bari took great
care of Jamia Islamia and had great concern for the people of Bhatkal. Moulana had a comprehensive
personality and was expert in various fields including Tafseer, Hadeeth, Fiqh and other subjects, he added.
Praising the efforts of Moulana Abdul Bari, Dr. Saeedur Rehman said that Moulana spent his entire life for
the service of Islam and in a very short span he has achieved something that is difficult to achieve in a span
of 80 to 100 years.
On this occasion, Moulana Syed Rabey Hasani advised students to follow Moulana Abdul Bari Nadvi as a role model and encouraged the youth of Bhatkal to adopt his qualities.
