Muslims out of power: No Muslim ministers in 15 states

Aside from the catchphrase Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, it is unexpected to see Muslims in positions of authority. For the first time, the governments of 15 states, including the Center, will not have a single Muslim minister. These also include significant states with a Muslim population of above 45 lakh, like as Telangana, Gujarat, and Assam. The percentage of Muslims in the nation is approximately 14%, making them the largest minority group after Hindus.

It appears that Muslim involvement in the ongoing process of forming a government following the recent elections in five states is not guaranteed. In Telangana, which is governed by Congress, the cabinet has grown. The party solved every equation in Telangana, but not a single Muslim was appointed as a minister. There is almost no likelihood of Muslims becoming ministers, not even in BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, or Chhattisgarh. Because not a single Muslim mla has won on the bjp emblem and made it to the house in any of the three states.

There isn't a single Muslim minister in the federal government for the first time. smriti irani, a member of the Hindu community, is in charge of the Minority Ministry. Muslim figures like Mukhtar Naqvi and Najma Heptullah were appointed as ministers during the first term of the Modi administration. Mukhtar was appointed a minister during his second term as well, however in 2021, as part of the cabinet enlargement, he was ousted. In the BJP's Atal Bihari cabinet, omar abdullah and Syed Shahnawaz Hussain held ministerial positions.

In what capacities do Muslims engage in politics? Talk to the center first.

For the first time, there isn't a single Muslim minister in the federal government. The Hindu community member smriti irani is in head of the Minority Ministry. In the first term of the Modi government, Muslim leaders such as Mukhtar Naqvi and Najma Heptullah were named as ministers. Mukhtar was also named a minister in his second term of office, although he was removed in 2021 as part of the expansion of the cabinet. omar abdullah and Syed Shahnawaz Hussain were ministers in the BJP's Atal Bihari cabinet.

Remarkably, not a single Muslim occupies any of the seven major jobs at the Center. These positions include Chief Justice, President, Vice President, Speaker, Chief election Commissioner, Prime minister, and leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha.
