Moulana Moula Karani conferred Life time Achievement award at Bhatkal sports awards

Bhatkal 08 December 2016: Bhatkalsports.com hosted an grand awards ceremony at Kola ground Bhatkal on Wednesday and awarded athletes from Bhatkal who excelled in their respective sports. Moulana Moula karani, founder member of Bhatkal Muslims Youth Federation (BMYF) was conferred with Life time achievement award, while Sadiqueen Shingeri of Lion sports club and Masoud Shingeri of Asadullah sport club were honored with (Jowher-e-Bhatkal) awards.
Noufil of Al Falah sports club bagged cricketer of the year award, Best Collwy ball Player award went out to Naveed Khan of Shaheen Maghdoom Sports club. Nihal from Super Star team and Kumail Shaikh bagged Player of the year awards in Kabaddi and Football respectively. Subsequently, School and College level athletes were also awarded for representing their school and colleges at different level in various events including University Blue athletes.
Chief guest of the event Moulana Ilyas Jakti while while addressing the event called on the athletes to play the games within the lines of Shari’ah while he also gave the example of International cricketer Hashim Amla and praised him for playing cricket at the highest level yet abiding by the rules and regulations of Islam and not getting himself involved in something which is forbidden in Islam. He also said games and athletics are part of Islam and that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) himself use to participate in various sporting events. He also advised youth to avoid wasting their time on internet and get into civil services to serve the community.
Muzammil Kazia, President Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem Bhatkal congratulated Bhatkalsports.com on organizing the awards ceremony while he also called their work ‘Historic’.
Yunus Kazia pressed on the need of providing these athletes with coaching and bring the best out of them.
The event was chaired by Imtiaz Udyawar, President BMYF, while Mangement members of Bhatkalsport.com including Waseem KM, Mubasshir Hallare were among others present.
