Bhatkal: 24 April,2025 (Bhatkallys News Bureau) In the wake of the deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on April 22, the Majlis-e-Islah Wa Tanzeem has strongly condemned the incident, describing it as a barbaric and inhuman act against innocent tourists who had visited the valley for recreation and peace.
Addressing the media at a press conference held in Bhatkal, Tanzeem's General Secretary Abdul Raqeeb MJ, along with executive committee member Syed Adam Panambur, expressed sorrow over the killings and called for a thorough and transparent investigation into the incident.
“In Kashmir Valley, where there is heavy deployment of police, paramilitary, and security forces, the fact that such a meticulously planned attack could still take place raises serious questions. We want the central government to conduct a completely honest investigation,” said Abdul Raqeeb MJ during the press meet.
He demanded that those responsible for the attack, whether planners or executors, must be brought to justice and given the strictest punishment. Emphasizing that terrorism has no religion, he reminded that no faith permits the killing of innocents.
Citing a verse from the Holy Quran, Abdul Raqeeb said, “If someone kills one innocent, it is as if he killed the whole of humanity, and if someone saves one person, it is as if he saved the whole of humanity.”
The Tanzeem leaders also urged people not to give the incident a communal colour, warning that such narratives only serve to spread hate among communities. “We should refrain from such divisive actions and instead stand in solidarity with the families who have lost their loved ones in this horrifying attack,” they said.
Calling the Pahalgam tragedy a direct attack on the idea of humanity, the Tanzeem appealed for peace, unity, and justice while extending heartfelt condolences to the victims’ families.
