Kumta Jamaatul Muslimeen elects new leadership for next term

Kumta, May 9: Jamaatul Muslimeen in Kumta has elected its new set of office bearers during the Annual General Body Meeting held on Thursday night at Jumma Masjid. The meeting, which took place after Isha prayers, drew the participation of community members who gathered to reflect on past achievements and choose the leadership for the new term.

Abdul Shukur Sab has taken charge as the President, while Nazeer Khan has been chosen as the Vice President. Mohammed Mohsin Quazi has been re-elected as the General Secretary for a third consecutive term. Yaseen Sab will now serve as the Joint Secretary and Mehtab Ali has been given the responsibility of Auditor.

The Executive Committee for the new term includes Mohammed Aqueel Quazi, Ameen Sab, Amjad Shaikh, Iftiqar Shaikh, Saleem Quazi, Dr. Nazeem Khan, Mehboob Ali Mujawar and Mohammed Gouse Shaikh.

The meeting also included a presentation of the previous term’s report and a review of the Jamaat’s ongoing community welfare projects. Members appreciated the consistent efforts made by the organisation and expressed hope that the new leadership will continue to work with dedication and unity for the betterment of the community.
