Koppal : Irked by husband’s unemployment, woman kills child

Koppal: In a heartwrenching incident a woman killed her own 16-month-old child, on Monday at Somanala village. The deceased is Abhinav and the accused is Kavita alias Prathima. As per the sources, Kavita’s husband was not earning money for the family expenses, irked by this she killed her child. It is also gathered that Kavita had earlier tried to commit suicide for the same reason. Following the incident, the Karatagi police have arrested Kavita. Source: Udayavani
