Karnataka Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot visits Murdeshwar Temple

Bhatkal: Karnataka Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot who is on a two-day tour to Coastal Karnataka, visited the famous Murdeshwar Temple on Friday morning. He was accompanied by his family members.
As a part of his tour to Coastal Karnataka, the governor visited several temples in the region. Before visiting the Murdeshwar Temple, he visited temples in Udupi and Kollur.
He also met priests at Murdeshwar Temple.
Security on National Highway between Bhatkal and Murdeshwar was beefed up and the highway was also briefly closed for traffic during the Governor’s convoy’s passage. The general public was also barred from entering Murdeshwar during the Governor’s visit.
Uttara Kannada Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan M P, Superintendent of Police Dr. Suman, Zilla Panchayath CEO M Priyanka, Bhatkal Assistant Commissioner Mamata Devi, Bhatkal Tahsildar Ravichandra, Dy.SP Belliapa and other officials were present during his visit.
