JD(s) state vice president visits Bhatkal; says 'Coalition government will complete term'

Bhatkal 28 September 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Janata Dal (Secular) on Thursday organised a press meet on the occasion of the visit of their state vice president M. Ganganna to the town on September 27. While addressing the press meet Ganganna said "There is pressure in the coalition government on the Chief Minister Kumarswamy, but he has been managing it to the best of his abilities and all by himself". He further added "It is our government that waived off the farmers loans freed them off the burdens. The district in-charge minister of Uttara Kannada R.V Deshpande is supporting our activities and helping in all our needs. The coalition government will be successful and will complete its five year tenure and maintain harmony in the state." The partymen also addressed some of the regional issues and assured assistance from the government, while also condemning the recent incident of police's unorthodox way of vehicle checking which had triggered protests by the locals after the police officials blocked roads with rocks and stones to stop riders from escaping the vehicle checking.
