Is your kid driving vehicle without license in Karnataka? You might just invite a case against yourself

Bhatkallys News Service Bengaluru 23 Oct 2017: State Government has issued a new circular to all the concerned departments to warn parents of minors and adults who ride or drive vehicle without license on road. The circular states the parents of such drivers, and vehicle owners will be tried under law for handing vehicles to them. Earlier the government had issued an oral warning to the across the state but the growing accident rates in the state has forced them to issue a written circular. According to the sources in police department the license checking for minor has already begun in Bengaluru and will soon be implemented throughout the state. The circular further states, first time offenders will be let off with penalty, while a case will be registered against second time offenders.
