Farewell to professor Masood Siddiqui of JNMC

ALIGARH April 25: A Farewell function was organized at the Department of Anesthesiology, J N Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University to felicitate Professor M Masood Hussain Siddiqui, who is retiring on 30th April. Addressing on the occasion, Professor Tariq Mansoor, Principal and CMS, said that Professor Siddiqui has been close to other faculty members of not only his department but others too. He said that Professor Siddiqui is a committed and dedicated Anesthetist and served in the Department for forty years. He said that experiences of retiring faculty members will be utilized for the upliftment of the College. Professor Shahla Haleem, Chairman, Department of Anesthesiology, said that Professor Siddiqui remained a guide to the department and his experiences would always be available for benefit of the Department. Professor M Masood Hussain said that it was a heart-rending moment for him. He urged the young doctors to remain available for patients with their professional aid and compassion. He also appreciated the work done by the Principal, Professor Tariq Mansoor, for betterment of the college. Professor Abrar Hasan, Professor Imran Ghani, Professor M Habib Raza and Professor S Moied Ahmad also shared their views. Dr Nazia Tauheed conducted the program. On the occasion, Professor Abdul Quadir, Professor Shaheen N Jamil, Professor Qazi Ehsan Ali, Dr Hammad Usmani, Dr Obaid Ahmed Siddiqui and Dr S Hussain Amir, including other senior Faculty members, senior and Junior residents were also present.
