Dr. Savita Kamat of Bhatkal secures top rank in Hospital Management Course at IIM Bangalore

Bhatkal: Dr. Savita Kamat, Administrative Medical Officer at Bhatkal Taluk Hospital, has secured the top position in a Hospital Management Course conducted by the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB). 

She was among 20 doctors selected from across Karnataka for the programme, out of which 15 completed the course successfully.

Along with Dr. Savita Kamat, Dr. Ramesh from Chikballapur and Dr. Radhakrishna from Bengaluru also secured top ranks in the course. 

The course at IIMB focused on developing leadership, hospital management techniques, quality improvement in healthcare services, and operational skills. The selected doctors underwent training aimed at strengthening administrative capabilities in the medical field.

Dr. Savita Kamat has been serving at Bhatkal Taluk Hospital, where she has worked towards improving the hospital’s services. Her efforts have contributed to better healthcare facilities at the government hospital.
