Convocation Day held at AITM

April 08, 2016 | Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: The Convocation of Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management (AITM) was held on Thursday at college with lot of fan and fervour. More than 150 students were awarded the degrees on successful completion of their academic programmes. The Convocation thus, marked a new beginning in the lives of these graduating students who will now also be the flag bearers of the Institute in the outside world. Dr. Vinayak N Seth, Principal, Goa College of Engineering, was the Chief Guest for the occasion and he delivered the Convocation Address. Speaking to the graduating students, Mr. Vinayak, a 1984 batch ex-student of AITM, encouraged the students to prepare and develop themselves for the corporate world. AHM General Secretary Ansar Kashimji delivered the key speech. Principal Dr. Mushtaque Ahmed Bavikatte, Dr. Uday Prasanna, Additional General Secretary Siddique Ismail, Deeniyat Board Secretary Asif Damudi, and several other professors attended the Convocation function, besides the graduating students. - ARF
