Congress files police complaint against Karnataka Home Minister Araga Jnanendra, C T Ravi

Bengaluru: Claiming that the Karnataka Home Minister Araga Jnanendra, had incited communal hatred over the murder of a youngster in Bengaluru, the Congress party on Wednesday filed a complaint against the Home Minister and BJP General Secretary CT Ravi. According to reports, under the leadership of Congress leader Manohar, a delegation of Congress filed a complaint against Karnataka Home Minister Araga Jnanendra and BJP General Secretary C T Ravi with the Malleshwaram Police here. Speaking to reporters later, the delegation alleged that despite clarifications from the Karnataka Police, the Home Minister and CT Ravi are spreading false information through his provocative statements causing communal hatred. They also called for the immediate resignation of the Home Minister and sought to file a case against the two BJP leaders. Home Minister Araga Jnanendra had earlier, while speaking about the Chandru Murder Case had said he was killed for not speaking Urdu, a claim denied by investigating team of police.
