City's young leader at global forum

A young Bangalorean will be rubbing shoulders with world leaders on a global forum soon. Viren Pradeep (11), a student of Akshara Montessori House of Children in Yelahanka, has been chosen by the U.S.-based World Leadership Forum to participate this year. So far, around 45 children from India have been chosen to take part in it.

This year, students from over 95 countries will participate in the forum that will be held in Washington D.C. between September 27 and October 2.

Participants will be audience to renowned speakers such as the former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, the former First Lady of the U.S. Laura W. Bush and the former Prime Minister of Australia John Howard. They will also be taken to landmarks in America as part of their visit.

Young Viren is the only participant from the State this year. At the group discussions, Viren intends to speak about the country and its art and culture.
