Child falls into a five-gallon bucket of water

Manki: A one-year-old boy, Son of Aadam Mullah (Patori) reportedly fell into a five-gallon bucket of water at his house in Nakhuda Mohalla, Manki on Friday while he was playing with her sister just before the Friday prayer. Locals said the boy was apparently playing with her sister when he slipped headfirst into a bucket filled with water. His mother who was busy in the kitchen came looking for the baby when she found him struggling in the water. She took him out and they rushed to the hospital. The boy was reported safe, but in critical condition on arrival at Sri Devi hospital, Honnavar.  Report by Abdul Samee
