Bengaluru: Reacting to a statement made by Karnataka Assembly speaker Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri earlier Member of Legislative Assembly Priyank Kharge on Friday tweeted that [one] can’t be RSS and patriot at the same time. “While Constituent Assembly was debating the constitution, RSS held protests,burnt constitution & wanted Manusmriti as India’s Constitution. Speaker holds debates on Constitution claiming to safeguard it’s values & also praises RSS. Can’t be RSS & patriot at the same time.” the tweet said.
