Bhatkal's Ibrahim Gulrez set to represent India at E-Football Asian Cup 2023 in Qatar

In a proud moment for Bhatkal, local talent Ibrahim Gulrez has earned a spot in the three-member Indian team competing in the upcoming E-Football Asian Cup 2023 in Qatar. The All India Football Federation revealed the squad, that included national e-football champion Ibrahim Gulrez.

Teaming up with fellow players Hemant Krishna Kom and Charanjot Singh, Gulrez emerged victorious in the challenging qualifying rounds to represent India in this tournament. The trio is set to compete against e-football champions from various countries at the Virtuosity Arena, Festival City Mall, Doha.

The players will be accommodated at the esteemed Izdan Palace Hotel in Doha, with the opening ceremony scheduled for February 1st, coinciding with the commencement of group matches. The knockout rounds and quarterfinals are slated for February 4th, leading up to the anticipated semi-finals and final rounds on February 5th.
