Bhatkal registers second best results in SSLC examination in Uttara Kannada; Girls outperform boys again

Bhatkal: The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) announced the SSLC results on Thursday, revealing notable performances across various districts in Karnataka. Udupi secured the first position, while Dakshina Canara claimed the second spot. Uttara Kannada district secured the fifth position in the state.

In Uttara Kannada, Bhatkal taluka achieved an overall pass rate of 95.63 percent, with girls once again outperforming boys. Boys recorded a pass percentage of 94.66%, while girls achieved an impressive 96.43%.

Among the top performers in Bhatkal taluk, Bhawana Prabha Naik from Karnataka Public School, Belur, and Harshan Nagya Gonda from Karnataka Public School, Taranmukki, secured the highest scores with 98.88%. Additionally, Maimuna d/o Muhammad Amin Ajaib, Fatima Reha d/o Rais Ahmad MJ, and Fatima Sara d/o Abdul Azim Gangavali secured the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively.

It's worth noting that 18 schools in Bhatkal attained a 100% pass rate this year. These schools include Ali Public Girls School, Anand Ashram Convent School, Siddhartha English Medium High School, Vidha Bharti English Medium High School, and Janata Vidyalaya Shirali High School. Additionally, eight government schools also achieved a 100% success rate.
