Bhatkal police arrest bike theft accused, recover stolen two-wheeler

Bhatkal, 24 July,2026: The Bhatkal Rural Police have solved a motorcycle theft case by arresting the accused and recovering the stolen two-wheeler.

The arrested has been identified as Syed Ali (22), a resident of Firdos Nagar, 4th Cross, Heble.

According to police, Syed Ali allegedly stole a motorcycle that had been parked in the courtyard of a house at Nerlesar in Heble village.

The theft came to light after Lohith Subbayya Mogera (26), a resident of Janata Colony in Belke, lodged a complaint at the Bhatkal Rural Police Station.

Based on the complaint, police registered a case and launched an investigation, which led to the arrest of the accused. The stolen motorcycle has been recovered from his possession.

The operation was carried out by Circle Inspector Venkatesh Muranal, with PSI Bharamappa Belagali and police personnel Manjunath Gonda and Eeranna taking part in the operation.
