Bhatkal: New Shams School records 100% pass in ICSE Grade X exams

Bhatkal: 06 May,2025 (Bhatkallys News Bureau) New Shams School, Bhatkal, has once again achieved a remarkable academic feat by securing 100% results in the ICSE Grade X examinations for the academic year 2024–25. All 83 students who appeared for the exams have successfully passed, continuing the school’s perfect record since adopting the ICSE syllabus 11 years ago.

 

Sharing the details, Principal Liyaqat Ali said that of the 83 students, which included 31 boys, 41 secured distinction, 32 passed in first class, nine in second class, and one in third class.

 

The school, managed by Idara Tarbiyat-e-Ikhwan, expressed pride in this consistent performance and credited the success to the hard work of students, teaching staff, and strong support from parents.

 

As per the press release, Anam Ruknuddin, daughter of Mohammed Yakub Ruknuddin, emerged as the school topper with 95.6%. She was followed by Faiha (94.8%), daughter of Faiyaz Ahmed Siddibapa, and Alveena (92%), daughter of Mohammed Tazeem Bidchol. Anam Kazia, daughter of Mohammed Sheez Kazia, and Aysha Shabandri, daughter of Mohammed Aseem Shabandri, both scored 91.8%. Mohammed Azhan, son of Abdul Azeez Qadri, secured 90.4%.

 

Several students also achieved full marks in individual subjects. Ahmed Damda Fakki, Faiha, and Aysha Shabandri scored centum in Urdu. Anam Ruknuddin secured full marks in Social Studies, while Alveena, Anam Ruknuddin, and Faiha scored centum in Physical Education.

 

Congratulating the students, Ismail Mohtesham, President of the school management, said the results reflect the joint efforts of students, teachers, and parents. He added that consistent achievements like these come from dedication and focused guidance.

 

Chairman of the school management, Nazeer Ahmed Quazi, also appreciated the achievement and said that New Shams School is proud to be setting new standards in education in Bhatkal.
