Bhatkal man who went missing during Umrah found safe in Makkah after two-day search

Bhatkal: A Bhatkal resident who had gone to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah and was reported missing two days ago has been traced safely in Makkah following extensive search efforts by members of the Bhatkal community in Jeddah.

 

According to information shared by community members, Imran, who had gone missing during his stay in the holy city, was located at Masjid al-Haram on Sunday. He is said to be safe and in good health.

 

Members of the Bhatkal Community Jeddah coordinated the search operation after receiving information about his disappearance. Community volunteers reportedly visited several hospitals and mortuaries in Makkah and explored various leads in an effort to trace him.

 

The community expressed gratitude to volunteers, particularly Faisal Damudi, Rehan Kobattay and Abdus Salam Damda Abu, for their continuous efforts in locating the missing pilgrim.

 

Following confirmation that Imran had been found safe, community members expressed relief and thanked all those involved in the search operation.
