Bhatkal man Tragically Killed in Road Accident in Tarasi

Kundapur, Sep 24: A man tragically lost his life in a car-bus collision near Araate bridge at Mulikatte on NH 66 on Monday night. The deceased has been identified as Nasir from Bhatkal.

Nasir was traveling with his family from Mangaluru to Bhatkal when a technical issue forced them to stop near Araate bridge on NH 66. While inspecting the car, Nasir was hit by a bus traveling from Kundapur to Gangolli as he attempted to re-enter the vehicle. The bus struck the car door, leaving him critically injured.

Though Nasir was rushed to a private hospital in Kundapur, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

The Gangolli police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
