Bhatkal hosts grand Milad procession to mark Milad-un-Nabi

Bhatkal: A grand Milad procession was held in Bhatkal on Tuesday under the banner of the Bhatkal Markazi Milad Committee to mark  Milad-un-Nabi.

Thousands of people associated with various organisations, including Faize Rasool, Bazme Faize Rasool, Tajushshunnath and SSF, took part in the procession.

Participants sang devotional songs in praise of Prophet Muhammad while performing Daf. Students from various madrasas were among the major attractions of the procession.

The procession began at the Eidgah ground on Bundar Road and passed through Shamshuddin Circle, Urban Bank, Sultan Street and Chowk Bazaar before proceeding along the main road. It concluded at the public ground near the old bus stand.

Markazi Milad Committee convenor Muneer Ahmed led the procession.

Khaja Hasan Kalayiwale, Abdul Aleem Gawai, Ismail Habibullah, Dr Yahya Askari, Asif Iqbal Kalayiwale, Idrees Mohtesham Rodda, Maulana Faizan Raza, Nawaz Shirali, Shafiq Beary, Ashraf Thonse and several other dignitaries participated in the event.
