Bhatkal Head Constable chosen for DG & IGP Commendation Disc

Bhatkal: In recognition of his service in the police department, Deepak S. Naik, a Head Constable serving at Bhatkal Town Police Station, has been selected for the DG & IGP Commendation Disc for the year 2025-26. The honour has been announced by the Karnataka Police Department in its latest list of awardees.

 

Deepak Naik is among 200 police personnel from across Karnataka who have been chosen to receive the prestigious commendation. The award list includes officers and staff from different ranks and units of the state police department. According to the official notification, Deepak Naik is currently posted at Bhatkal Town Police Station in Uttara Kannada district.

 

The DG & IGP Commendation Disc is awarded to police personnel who have displayed dedication and commitment in carrying out their responsibilities. The recognition is considered one of the significant honours conferred within the Karnataka Police Department.

 

Deepak Naik's selection has been welcomed by fellow police personnel. His achievement is seen as a proud moment for Bhatkal Town Police Station, which has earned representation in the statewide list of award recipients.

 

The official communication issued by the Director General and Inspector General of Police states that details regarding the investiture ceremony for presenting the Commendation Disc will be announced separately.
