Bhatkal, Jan 31: There were protests by BJP on Tuesday condemning the official move to vacate the boards that carried the name of Savarkar, flagpost and saffron flag erected at Hebale Tenginagundi area three days ago.

But the officers have vacated the flagpost and flag at Tenginagundi port area,” he said.
The protesters continued their protests saying that they will not move until all the unauthorised boards in the panchayat limits are vacated.
The workers of BJP and Sangh Parivar began raising the flagpost once again in the evening.
