Bhardwaj given warm farewell

The outgoing Governor, H.R. Bhardwaj, was on Saturday given a warm farewell by the State government with a guard of honour by the city police. Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy and Information and Infrastructure Minister R. Roshan Baig represented the State government at the brief function and presented bouquets to Mr. Bhardwaj. Mr. Reddy also saw him off at the airport. Swearing-in today According to a communiqué from the Raj Bhavan, Tamil Nadu Governor K. Rosaiah, who will hold the additional charge of Karnataka, will be administered the oath of office by Chief Justice of the High Court of Karnataka D.H. Waghela at the Raj Bhavan at 9 a.m. on Sunday. On Saturday morning, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah met Mr. Bhardwaj and wished him well. He also thanked the Governor for his service to the people of Karnataka.
