APCR Bhatkal to host legal awareness programme on community issues

Bhatkal, 31 July,2026: (Press Release) The Association for Protection of Civil Rights (APCR), Bhatkal Unit, is set to organise a public programme on August 1 to discuss the legal challenges faced by the community and the constitutional remedies available to address them.
The programme, titled "Legal Challenges Faced by the Community and Remedial Strategies," will be held at 5 pm at Rabita Hall, Bhatkal.
Adv. Akmal Razvi, General Secretary of APCR Karnataka State and Senior Advocate at the Karnataka High Court, Bengaluru, will be the resource person for the event. He will speak on various aspects of constitutional rights, legal safeguards, emerging legal issues affecting the community, and practical measures that individuals can take to protect their rights through legal means.
Organisers said the programme has been designed to improve public understanding of constitutional protections and create greater awareness about the legal options available to citizens. The session will also focus on the importance of legal literacy and informed civic participation in safeguarding individual and community rights.
According to APCR Bhatkal, the event is open to the public and is expected to bring together advocates, students, social workers, professionals and members of the community interested in gaining a better understanding of contemporary legal issues.
The organisers have urged people from Bhatkal and surrounding areas to attend the programme and make use of the opportunity to interact with a senior legal expert on issues concerning constitutional rights and legal remedies.
The organisers also said separate seating arrangements will be made for ladies during the event.
