Anjuman Centenary celebrations begin with procession; Thousands of people march through the town

Bhatkal 3 January 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen began it's centenary celebrations with a procession from Anjumanabad which marched through various parts of the town, to be later dispersed at famous Anjuman ground near old bus stand here. Thousands of people including students of various schools and colleges of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen joined the procession with placards in their hands while shouting slogans attributing Anjuman of leading the educational change in the region. CLICK HERE to see photos of the Anjuman centenary procession The procession that began from Anjumanabad, headed towards Shamsuddin circle and then towards downtown where it passed through old bus stand, Sultan street, Md Ali road, car street, main road and dispersed at Anjuman ground near old bus stand here. Hundreds of management members, executive members, staffs and secretaries were also part of the procession. The procession was wonderfully divided into parts according to the schools/colleges students were representing while they were being monitored by their respective school officials to maintain utmost discipline throughout the procession. CLICK HERE to see photos of the Anjuman centenary procession The procession was led by the president of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen Abdul Rahim Jukaku and General Secretary Ismail Siddique who were travelling on jeep followed by several vehicles and students. With this, Anjuman has officially began their centenary celebrations which will now be followed by an inaugural event of January 5 and 6 which is expected to be attended by Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy and other prominent personalities. The celebrations will continue for the whole year of 2019, wherein several events, competitions, business fairs, seminars, workshops and other events will be organised spread across the year.
