All Muslim Umbrella Organization Demand probe in Qateel's Murder - Protest at Collector Office

Pune - Kul Jamati Tanzim (All Muslim Umbrella Organization) has demanding a CBI probe in Qateel Siddiqui murder case who was alleged to be murdered in Yerwada Jail here in the city by Ashok Mode & Alok Bhalerao, both arrested under Moca. Thousands of people from all wolks of life irrespective of caste colour and religion thronged before the pune collectorate where a huge gathering was organized. The Dharna commenced with the recitation of versus from the Holy Quran by Qari Md. Idris (Jamiat-e-Ulama-e-Hind), Brigadier Sudhir Savant (Maratha Seva Sangh) Mr, Aklaq Ahmed (Association for Potection of Civil rights) Maulana Aamir Rashadi, Maulana A Hameed Azhari were among the guest speakers.

Mr Anjum Inamdar in his inaugural address has pointed that Qateel Siddique's murder in the high tight security of Yerwada jail is a mystery. There seems a conspiracy behind therefore there seems a conspiracy behind therefore we the Kul Jamati Tanzeem Pune demand a CBI probe in the matter and several penal action against these who are involved in it.

Brigadier Sudhir Savant of Maratha Seva Sangh has stressed that the life and honors of a common man face a great threat today. Many innocent Muslim youth are being arrested tortured and even brutally murdered under police custody in the name of curbing terrorism. He said that the functioning of A.T.S should be in strict check as it is posing a great danger to the law & order of the country. In the name of curbing terrorism it is our promoting it.

Mr. Akhlaq Ahmed (Association of protection of civil rights) stated his close relations with Qateel's family and revealed that Qateel belonged to a poor family who left his native in search of employment was very innocent. He continued that he would strive hard to give justice to his family.

Maulana Aimar Rashadi of Rastriya Ulama Council optioned that Police custody has now a days become greatly insecure, Whereas Prof. Aziz Mohinuddin (Jamat-e-Islami Hind) argued that Qateel's murder is in a sense. An attack on humanity. It reveals that a common man is not safe even he is at home. It is the need of the hoar to extend a helping hand to each victim of injustice cruelty & suppression be if a Muslim, Hindu, Dalit or a Maratha. It becomes a legal battle now, we need lawyers, Journalist & a youth activist to let peace justice prevails in the society.

Prof. Shahid Khot (All India Imams Council) said that all human being are the progeny of a common father Aadam (A.S) irrespective of caste and religious. If one is harassed, subjected to injustice all should raise against it. The police perform their duty honestly keeping in mind that they are answerable to one Superior Authority for their acts and they too have sons and daughter who may be subjected to indiscrimination and injustice in future.

Brother Sadique Qureshi (Popular Front of India) we should come out to get our rights so we need to stand mass movement. If the government fails for the same a nation wide movement will be launched soon for the sake of justice.

Maulana Shaikh Zahid (Jamiet-e-Ulama-Hind) the agencies have any kinds of provide evidence regarding the arrested innocents so present if they are guilty then we will punish them, Brother Khizer (S.I.O) Unanonymously urged for a C.B.I investigation in the matter.

Mr. Afroz siddique brother of late Qateel Siddique thanked the masses for their whole hearted supported to them and standing by them in the time of crises.

Maulana Abdul Hamed Azhais (K.J.T Malegaon) in his presidential address said that communism & Saffronism are the real enemies of our nation. He expressed a dedicated commitment to fight against these real sources of terrorism.

The Dharna continued for two hours admit the people carrying placards demanding justice to Qateel & compensation to the Bereaved.

Prof. Azher Ali Warsi (President J.I.H Pune) conducted the proceedings. He left no stone unturned in the organization of Dharna.

Adv. M.M. Syed convened the Dharna agitation. At the end a memorandum was send to Prime Minister of India through the Dist. Collector Pune. The Memorandum raises number of a question on the functioning of polices to how he was murdered in the high tight security of Anda Cell & why didn't he shout make hue & cry while being killed? and so on demanded to reach to the root of the murder through C.B.I and brain mapping of the murderers must be carried out by C.B.I and the family of victim Qateel must be Paid a compensation amount of Rs. 50 Lakhs
