85,269 voters to exercise their franchise in Bhatkal's TP and ZP polls

Bhatkal - Total of 85,269 voters are expected to cast their voting rights in the upcoming Taluka Panchyat and Zilla Panchayat election to be held here in Bhatkal. According to sources, there are 12 Taluka Panchayat constituencies (Bailur, Mavalli, Shirali, Heble, Bengre, Venkatapur, Mundalli, Belke, Alwaikodi, Marukeri, Jali, Kaikini) and 4 Zilla Panchyat constituencies (Mavalli, Shirali, Jali and Belke) in Bhatkal, for which 90 polling booths have been setup throughout the taluk for the smooth conduct of polls.

Out of 85,269 voters, Mavalli constituency have 22,106 voters while Shirali - 24,967 voters, Jali - 21,164 and Belke - 17,029 voters.
