SSLC Exams: Bhatkal Taluk Secures Second Place with 98.63% Pass Percentage Amid Outstanding Student Performance

Bhatkal taluk records 98.63% SSLC result; girls outperform boys, 26 schools achieve 100% pass

 

Bhatkal: Bhatkal taluk has registered an impressive 98.63 per cent result in the 2025-26 SSLC main examination, continuing its strong academic performance. Girls once again emerged ahead in the results.

 

Out of 37 high schools in the taluk, 26 schools achieved a perfect 100 per cent result.

 

A total of 2,040 students appeared for the examination, of whom 2,012 passed.

 

In the gender-wise breakup, 1,166 girls appeared for the exam and 1,157 cleared it, recording a pass percentage of 99.23. Boys registered a pass percentage of 97.83.

 

Among medium-wise results, Kannada medium students led with 99.64 per cent success. English medium recorded 98.68 per cent, while Urdu medium posted 92.14 per cent.

 

School category-wise, government schools secured 99.52 per cent results, aided schools recorded 96.44 per cent, and unaided schools achieved 99.15 per cent.

 

In the taluk merit list, Sanika Bailur of Karnataka Public School topped by scoring 621 marks out of 625 (99.36%).

 

Pratham Nagaraj Naik and Varshitha Shivakumar Naik shared second place with 620 marks each.

 

Vaibhavi Devanand Nayak secured third place with 619 marks.

 

A total of 26 schools including 10 government schools, 5 aided schools and 11 unaided schools recorded 100 per cent results. Schools in Tenginagundi, Belke, Mundalli, Kuntavani and Jali were among those that drew attention with their performance.
