Ali Public PU College students secure three top positions in district-level quiz

Bhatkal, September 12: Students of Ali Public Pre-University College, Bhatkal, secured the first, second and fourth positions in the district-level quiz competition “End the Cancer 2026”, held at Dr A.V. Baliga College of Arts and Science, Kumta, on September 12.
The district-level finale was organised as part of the “End the Cancer 2026” initiative in coordination with the District Health and Family Welfare Office, Uttara Kannada, with students from various institutions across the district participating.
Demonstrating knowledge, confidence, teamwork and quick thinking, students from Ali Public PU College secured three places among the top achievers.
The first position was won by Aysha Udyawar, daughter of Mohammed Faique Udyawar, and Sara Shazeen Barmawar, daughter of Abdul Basit Barmawar.
Aysha Hira Tonse, daughter of Mohammed Ismail Tonse, and Umme Salmah Rukunuddin, daughter of Mohammed Uzair Rukunuddin, secured the second position.
Adding to the college’s achievement, Fatima Samha Akrami, daughter of Abdul Aziz Akrami, and Fatima Tahani Ajaib, daughter of Mohammed Talha Ajaib, secured the fourth position.
The achievement was described as a significant accomplishment for Ali Public PU College, reflecting the students’ preparation, teamwork and competitive spirit. It also highlighted the institution’s efforts to provide students with opportunities to develop their knowledge and skills beyond the classroom.
The management and Principal of Ali Public PU College congratulated the students and appreciated their hard work, confidence and team spirit.
