Youth on bike rams pole, sustains severe injuries

15 Aug 2013 / Bhatkal Bureau / Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: A 28-year-old youth sustained severe head injuries when his motorcycle rammed into a pole on Bhatkal National Highway (NH66) near Nishat hospital on Wednesday night at around 9:30pm. According to sources, the youth was heading towards Shamsuddin Circle from Sarpan Katta when because of deficient lights could not see the pole and rammed into it. As a consequence, he sustained severe injuries on his head. The injured, Krishna, was rushed to Bhatkal Government Hospital with the help of the locals and later was sent to Kundapur. A case was registered at Bhatkal town police station.
