Young Bharatanatyam dancer dies on the spot after being run over by KSRTC bus in Honnavar

Honnavar 16 October 2018: A bike rider died on the spot, after a KSRTC bus rammed into her bike here at NH-66 of Honnavar on Monday, 16 Oct. The deceased has been identified as Sowmya Bhat (28), a resident of Honnavar. As per sources, Sowmya was a well-known Bharatanatyam dancer cum teacher of the Taluka. The incident occurred when the over-speeding KSRTC which was heading towards Kumta from Honnavar rammed into the two-wheeler that came from the opposite direction. Sowmya Sccummbed on the spot due to critical head injuries. A case has been registered at Honnavar police station. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
