The resolution approved a list of fees to be charged for 14 services provided by the Dubai Police. Causing a traffic accident will be costlier in Dubai now. The Dubai Police will charge a fee of Dh400 for inspecting a traffic accident site, according to a resolution issued by Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council. The resolution approved a list of fees to be charged for 14 services provided by the Dubai Police. According to the decree, the charge for inspecting a traffic accident site is Dh400, while Dh100 will be charged to remove a car from the road. To transport a car or motorcycle from one place to another inside the emirate will cost Dh500, while it will be Dh1,000 for heavy trucks and Dh2,000 for cranes and containers. To remove a heavy truck from the road, the police fee will be Dh200 while Dh100 per day will be charged for keeping a heavy truck in vehicle seizure areas. The resolution also lists police fee for issuance of various certificates. For issuing a replacement for traffic accident report, the Dubai Police will charge Dh100 and traffic certificates will be issued at a charge of Dh150. Night work permit will cost Dh100, while it will be Dh50 for lost certificates. To issue a to-whom-it-may-concern certificate, the Dubai Police will charge the applicant Dh75, according to the resolution.
