Yellapur: Depressed by illness, woman commit suicide

Yellapur 21 Feb 2018: A woman who couldn’t bear her illness commited suicide by jumping into the well near her residence at Machikeri of Yellapur taluk here on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Nagaveni Narayan Hegde (59) of Yellapur.

Sources reveal that the victim was allegedly suffering from mental illness, back pain and other discomforts from last ten years, Which led her to commit suicide due to depression.

The incident was reported  to the police by Gajanan Sarveshwar, brother of victim’s husband. And a case has been registered in Yellapur Police Station.
